Dubrovnik Cable Car

The Dubrovnik Cable Car began transporting passengers in 1969 when it was the Adriatic's first and only cable car, but it was destroyed during the Croatian War of Independence.

This newly restored Cable car will take you to the top of the Srd mountain.

Its starting point is located just above the Old Town, and it can be reached by a short walk from the Old town, or by bus number 8 which takes you directly to it.

The cable car takes only a few minutes to reach the top of this 405m above sea level mountain, from which you can enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of City walls, Lokrum Island, Elaphiti Islands, and other areas of Dubrovnik.

There is no set departure time, the cable car departs when it is loaded.

Although we can't say going to the Srd Mountain by cable car is the cheapest option, it surely is the fastest and most enjoyable way to get there. If you prefer another way, it is possible to get there by car or even by walking by the trail path starting from here.
