Kopun is a restaurant on Poljana Ruđera Boškovića, the little square above the Jesuit stairs in the Old Town, with tables outside facing the church of St Ignatius. It is named after the capon, the old Dubrovnik dish it builds its menu around.
Members of a big travel forum call it their favourite meal in the city, and travel bloggers describe sharing squid ink risotto, capon dishes and pašticada. Visitors often mention the setting and the friendly service; one found the food less memorable than the square.
