A protected park forest covering the two Petka hills at the western end of the Lapad peninsula, above the Lapad bay promenade and Masarykov put, with paved and gravel paths under Aleppo pines.
Travel bloggers who walked it describe it as a shady, quiet oasis away from the busy streets, and say the climb to the summit of Velika Petka ends in an all-round view of the sea, especially at sunset. Hikers on komoot recommend the clifftop lookout on Mala Petka too, and a Dubrovnik-born writer suggests it for a more local break.
